How the Program Works

·The six to nine-week classes are designed to help students find, develop, and leverage their voice to enrich their lives and the lives of others.

·Students between the ages of 9-17 or young adults (depending on the program) are welcome to participate in our classes.

·The six to nine-week classes are designed to help students find, develop, and leverage their voice to enrich their lives and the lives of others.

·Students meet each week for a 1 to 1/2-hour session (depending on the location) to work on various projects, present their speeches, and practice speaking skills. Classes are held remotely or in person.

·Students are provided a workbook or materials for self-paced learning and development.

·The classes are run by the students with a coordinator or facilitator present to provide assistance, guidance, etc., as appropriate.

·The leadership classes are conducted based on Roberts's Rules of Order with the appropriate individuals in place to fulfill the necessary roles.

·The classes conclude with a recognition event for the members who completed the full program.

·Classes can be customized to meet the needs of coops, schools, and partnership organizations.
